Reading books within the DDTC Library area is highly encouraged. Enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of the DDTC Library!
- 1.2
If you wish to take a book outside the DDTC Library (e.g., to your workspace, the cafeteria, or other areas), please scan the book’s barcode first. Any book taken outside of the DDTC Library area must be recorded in the system under the borrowing scheme.
- 1.3
The book borrowing scheme is applicable only to DDTC internal personnel. External visitors are allowed to read books only within the DDTC Library area.

Loan Quota and Membership Point System
- 2.1
Borrowing quotas are determined based on your DDTC Library membership points. You can check your current point balance on the dashboard when logging into the system via the library’s computer.
- 2.2
DDTC Library Membership Point System. At the beginning of each year, DDTC professionals are granted 100 library membership points.
- 2.3
Points will increase or decrease based on the punctuality of the book returns. The remaining point balance determines your borrowing quota.
- 2.4
If you no longer have a borrowing quota, you can still read books, but only within the DDTC Library area. DDTC professionals may earn additional points (to regain borrowing quota) by writing book reviews of DDTC Library collections.
- 2.5
If your year-end point balance is below 100, it will be reset to 100 at the beginning of the following year.
- 2.6
If your year-end point balance is above 100, it will be carried over without reset.
- 2.7
DDTC professionals who write book reviews will receive additional points.
- 3
Book Loan Duration
- 3.1
The maximum borrowing period is 3 (three) working days for each book.
- 3.2
If the due date falls on a public holiday, the return due date will automatically be extended to the next working day.
- 3.3
Book borrowing can be extended up to two times. After the second extension, the same book can only be borrowed again after it has been returned and remains in the DDTC Library for at least one full day.
- 4
Book Copying Provisions
- 4.1
DDTC professionals are not permitted to photocopy, scan, or reproduce any part, whether in whole or in part, of library books without prior permission.
- 4.2
To obtain such permission for copying, professionals must submit a request stating the purpose to the Head of DDTC Tax Knowledge & Training Center. Approval or rejection will be issued after coordination with the Director of DDTC Fiscal Research & Advisory and the Managing Partner of DDTC Consulting.
