The role of Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) as the Indonesian tax authority consents the authorization in access to financial information as an attempt to optimizing tax collection. In tax administration which upholds a self-assessment system, supervision of taxpayers' compliance is fundamental to increase tax revenues. To intensify the supervision, DGT requires unrestricted access to receive and obtain financial information for tax purposes, to establish a stronger and more accurate tax database.
