In this book, the authors have made the efforts to evaluate and assess the justice delivery system in India, to discuss and analyse the constitutionality of the right to speedy trial, the reason behind the pendency of the cases, to evaluate the judicial approach to speedy trial and to ascertain the impediments behind speedy trial and also to suggest ways and means to ensure speedy trial.
